HISTORY

Motion Components SW, Inc. was formed & incorporated in Texas by our President, Bill Hatley, solely to represent Bearing & Power Transmission manufactures’ in the Southwest. Seeing a need for professionalism and integrity in that vital link between distribution and manufacturing, Motion Components SW was created.

Motion Components SW is located in Ft Worth, Texas convenient to D/FW airport. Motion Components SW has adequate facilities available for training with manufacturers and distributors.

MARKETING PHILOSOPHY

Motion Components SW is dedicated to providing qualified professional salespeople to represent manufacturers in the field without conflict of competitive lines. Our primary objective is to train the distributors salespeople to feel comfortable and very competent with the products therefore creating a sense of loyalty and give more selling time to our product lines. We currently cover TX, OK, LA, NM, and AR with 4 salesmen working the territory. Motion Components SW current primary base of customers is made up of over 100 independent distributors, 3 major regional chains, 3 national chains and over 20 OEM’s that are respected in their markets and financially sound. It is Motion Components goal to represent a limited number [8-10] of manufacturers that are compatible with our present lines and compliment each other to maximize selling time and profitability to everyone. Our professional integrity will be an asset to your company by keeping you abreast of marketing changes and needs in the field to create a marketing partner that keeps us one step ahead of competition.

Motion Components SW is proud to be a member of Power-Motion Technology Representatives Association (PTRA) and Manufacturers’ Agents National Association (MANA) whose members adhere to a strict code of ethics for conducting PT sales.
